Our psychiatric health professionals are trained in different forms of treatment and are well-versed in symptom evaluation and treatment. They understand the importance of holistic services. Thus, assessment results and clients’ opinions about their conditions are considered to create an individualized treatment plan. While our professionals are well-trained in their field, they continue to expand their knowledge on treatment and psychiatric health issues by attending seminars and reading the latest medical journals to improve the quality of their services.
Mone’t Ince-Amara, MSN, CRNP-PMH
An ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Monet has 10 years of clinical experience working with children and adults in emergency services, cardiology, and inpatient behavioral health and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner throughout the DC Metropolitan Area.
She gained her Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialization at Walden University. She is currently completing a fellowship in integrative and functional psychiatry under the instruction of Dr. James Greenblatt of Redefined Psychiatry.
Monet has a strong interest in working with women and girls. She is particularly interested in working with women who suffer from mood disorders, anxiety, and eating disorders. She also works with survivors of adult/child sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking.
Her years of experience have given her the opportunity to witness the desperate needs of women who want to be heard and healed. Accessibility to mental health care has become a major barrier for patients seeking treatment. She believes that conventional treatment can improve the mental health of individuals troubled with mental health issues along with other holistic therapies.
She takes a patient-centered, holistic approach by considering the root causes of the mental health problem in conjunction with external factors that impact her clients’ overall goals.
Our psychiatric health services are available for young girls and women through telepsychiatry. With this, they can receive mental health support wherever they are through their devices. If you have more questions, please send us a message or give us a call.
