Mone't is a ANCC nationally board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner licensed to practice independently in the state of Maryland. With over twenty years of healthcare experience, nine in nursing, she had the privilege of providing care for patients and families in pediatric emergency services, child/adolescent behavioral health, victim's advocacy, and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner.
Today, she continues to work with children, women, and men across the life span who were victims of sexual abuse, incest, human trafficking, and domestic violence.
Her personal and career experiences inspired her passion for working in the field of mental health and wellness. After witnessing the challenges children, women, and men face after experiencing trauma, she decided to provide telepsychiatry to create more convenient access to quality mental health care.
Her integrative approach to mental health care is the foundation of her practice by treating the "whole person" with consideration of conventional, complementary, and alternative interventions. She understands every client’s unique needs, as there is no “one size fits all” for treatment. She strives to build rapport with her clients by supporting them and guiding them to adopt healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Together, she will explore the challenges you face as you work toward positive change.
